JoJo's Bizarre Adventure part 2: Battle Tendency

Joseph Joestar is the main protagonist of Battle Tendency, a core ally in Stardust Crusaders, and a supporting character in Diamond is Unbreakable. As the grandson of Jonathan Joestar, he is the second to be named JoJo of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series.

Joseph is a natural-born Hamon user and eventual Stand User, wielding the psychic photographic Stand, Hermit Purple. An exuberant trickster, Joseph meets the fantastic threats approaching him throughout his life with initiative and impressive ingenuity, battling Vampires, the Pillar Men, and malevolent Stand users.

Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli is a core ally featured in Battle Tendency.

Caesar is an Italian Hamon user and disciple of Lisa Lisa. He is the grandson of Will Anthonio Zeppeli and battles the Pillar Men alongside his allies and teachers to honor his heritage as a Zeppeli. Caesar is a hot-blooded but focused man, dedicated to the fight against the Pillar Men.

Robert E. O. Speedwagon is a major ally featured in Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Formerly a Londonian thug operating in Ogre Street, Speedwagon befriends Jonathan Joestar and, despite remaining a powerless human, becomes a loyal ally to the Joestar Family during his whole life and beyond thanks to the company he's founded: the Speedwagon Foundation.

Erina Pendleton is a side character and ally appearing in Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency. Erina is a fair-headed young girl, who keeps her hair in a ponytail and is described as pretty.

Erina is a young girl from Jonathan Joestar's hometown, becoming his love interest then wife. She is the mother to George Joestar II, and the grandmother and guardian to Joseph Joestar.

Lisa Lisa, real name Elizabeth Joestar, is a core ally in Battle Tendency.

Lisa Lisa is a Hamon master and mentor to Caesar Zeppeli and Joseph Joestar, residing in Venice but whose past is initially unknown. She leads the Hamon Users' efforts in battling the Pillar Men. Later, it is revealed that she is Joseph's mother.

Rudol von Stroheim is a major ally in Battle Tendency.

Stroheim is introduced as a German officer researching and experimenting on the Pillar Man Santana. Eventually, he and his unit cooperate with the Hamon users to stop the threat of the Pillar Men.

Smokey Brown is a minor ally featured in Battle Tendency. Smokey is an ordinary petty thief hailing from New York whose newfound friendship with Joseph Joestar places him at the spectator's seat of the battle against the Pillar Men.

Smokey is friendly and mild-mannered. He is often shocked by the fantastic, horrific situations that surround his friend Joseph Joestar.

Suzi Q, known as Suzi Q Joestar later in her life, is a minor character featured in Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders. She is Lisa Lisa's servant, but a powerless human. Suzi Q becomes Joseph Joestar's love interest and later wife.

In Battle Tendency, Suzi Q is a young woman of average height and build, with blond hair that she keeps tied into a chignon save a few locks standing upward at the side of her head.
During Stardust Crusaders, Suzi has considerably aged and her hair has gone white, she now also wears glasses.

Kars is the main antagonist of Battle Tendency. Kars is the leader of the Pillar Men, and the designer of the Stone Mask. His goal is to evolve further to become immune to the sun's rays, and thus he seeks the Red Stone of Aja to empower his Masks, battling the Hamon users for its possession.

As the creator of the Stone Masks and Vampires, Kars is one of the more influential characters in the series, his invention having far reaching repercussions for a number of major characters, such as Dio Brando, the Joestar Family and the Zeppeli Family.

Esidisi is an antagonist featured in Battle Tendency.

Esidisi is the second highest ranked Pillar Man after Kars and battles the Hamon users for the possession of the Red Stone of Aja. He and Kars were the only two surviving members of the Pillar men clan.

Wamuu is an antagonist featured in Battle Tendency.

Wamuu is a proud Pillar Man warrior in the respectful service of his superiors Esidisi and Kars, also serving as a personal rival to Joseph Joestar throughout his journey. He and Santana were saved when they were babies by Kars and Esidisi after the extermination of their clan.

Santana is a minor antagonist featured in Battle Tendency.

Discovered slumbering inside of a stone pillar in Mexico by Speedwagon and the Germans, this individual is christened as "Santana" and is the first featured member of the Pillar Men. Rampaging through a research facility, he eventually meets and fights Joseph Joestar. He and Wamuu were saved when they were babies by Kars and Esidisi after the extermination of their clan.
